Why I write on mobility as a service
Notice the reference to the term "cloud based" to describe the technology needed to support mobile workforce solutions. LAN based technology is going by the wayside. You sure can't use hardwire confined to a physical office location to connect workers operating in Europe or Asia! Cloud based IT technology is the future. Mobile workforce solutions give IT departments the power to automatically and remotely restart firewalls and anti virus software in the event they are shut down either by viral attack or worker accident. Mobile workforce solutions also provide companies with the wherewithall to download the latest security patches and anti virus software updates whenever an endpoint connects to the network.
