Because the transportation containers were so small, the self storage company could leave it overnight, one or two days at the customer's residence for him or her to load the container at leisure. A relaxed time schedule meant lesser headaches for the provider and lesser anxiety for the customer. The schedule of delivery at the new place of residence could now also be decided by the client. Clients utilized this flexibility to hunt for their dream house and then prepare the house before asking the provider to deliver their belongings. A delay in getting a house by a month or two? Such a situation could now be taken care of by depositing the entire luggage inside the sealed container at secured company warehouses.
