As is the norm in the industry, it appears that submission to 10 blog directories or even less is sufficient. While most search engines do favor sites with more links, they do not usually consider links originating from a blog directory as important as links that come from actual blog posts or articles. My primary concern at this point was how to find blog directories that I could submit my blog to. I found that a search for "blog directory" got me several leads in this regard. In fact, many of the better blog directories came in at the top of the search results pages.
