This type of moving service is one where the company will drop off the moving crates for you to pack on your own. After you pack the crates you call the moving company to come and load them on the truck. They then take them to your new home and drop them off there for you. After the self movers drop off your crates you can unpack them. This way the self movers are not responsible for any damaged items.
